Summary of Required documents
1. Signed EPIK application form with passport photo (+personal essay and Lesson plan)
2. Two references from professional / academic sources ( hard copy with ink signature)
3. Copy of Passport Information Page and one Passport Sized Photo ( in colour )
4. Apostilled original Criminal Record Check (Separate guidance will be provided by QTKorea )
(CRB check will be part of the application process, so applicants must have a clear criminal check or you will not be eligible)
5. Apostilled official copy of birth certificate ( British only, Separate guidance will be provided by QTKorea)
6. Apostilled copy of Bachelor's degree
7. Two sets of Bachelor's transcripts in sealed envelopes(mandatory,3 years university final results)
8. Copy of CELTA, TESOL, TEFL,TESL certificate (optional, applicable to one of the certificate holders )
9. Apostilled copy of Master's degree (optional, applicable to master's degree holder )
10.Two sets of Master's transcripts in sealed envelopes (optional,applicable to master's degree holder )
11. Smoking sworn Declaration ( mendatory for all applicants)

Proof of full time teaching experience from institution with exact dates (optional )
Copy of teacher's certificate or license (optional )
Proof of secondary school attendance and Legal residency (requried for Korean national)
Sworn declaration for Tattoo (optional )
Sworn declaration of intent to fullfill mandatory training required for EPIK contract (optional )
EPIK - Seoul attachment / SMOE addendum / SMOE Contract ( required for Seoul applicants)
Agreement letter for security deposit ( required for Incheon applicants )
Residency Certificate for Korean income tax exemption for the first two years ( British only, extra guidance will be provided by QTKorea)
How to apply? by submitting EPIK application form + two scanned copies of references (electronically to qtkorea1@gmail.com)
Apostilles are an affix that makes a document acceptable internationally. Korean law requires degrees and CRB checks to have an
apostille attached to any certified documents. A copy of the degree(s) and an original CRB certificate must be certified. Only then will you be able to
get the necessary apostille attached in FCO.
Original birth certificate or an official register copy of the birth certificate can be apostilled without a certified stamp.

Depending on your qualifications and salary level, you will be guided to submit slightly different documents later.
You will only be requested to send documents by mail, if you have passed your interview with EPIK
